Sunny Hodge
Biography
Sunny Hodge is a multifaceted film and TV producer, director, and editor, known for her work on high-profile series and feature films. Originally from Laguna Beach and Sun Valley, Idaho, Sunny began her career as a singer-songwriter before moving to Los Angeles in 1997 to pursue film editing.
She landed her first editing role in 1999 on Josh and Jonas Pate’s USA series Good vs. Evil. Since then, Sunny has edited both films and television, collaborating with acclaimed filmmakers such as Joey Soloway, Shonda Rhimes, and Joss Whedon. In 2019, she reunited with the Pate brothers as lead editor and producer on the hit Netflix series Outer Banks.
Sunny’s work has received widespread recognition. She was featured on the cover of CineMontage Magazine in 2017 for her contributions to Amazon’s award-winning series Transparent and was honored in 2011 as one of Power Up’s “Amazing Women in Film.” Sunny credits her musical background for her innate storytelling sense, rhythm, and ability to craft compelling narratives through editing.
