Ranjit Tewari
Biography
Ranjit Tiwari is a filmmaker in the Hindi cinema industry. Before stepping into direction, he gained experience as an assistant and associate director on films such as Thanks Maa (2009), Patiala House (2011), D-Day (2013), and Katti Batti (2015). He made his directorial debut in 2017 with Lucknow Central, a film he co-wrote with Aseem Arora.
The movie, backed by Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, featured performances by Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, and Deepak Dobriyal. Ranjit’s next project as director was the 2021 spy thriller Bell Bottom, headlined by Akshay Kumar alongside Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta.
