Praveen Prabhakar
Biography
Praveen Prabhakar is an Indian film editor who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. Born on 9 September 1976 in Kozhikode, Kerala, he graduated from St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri. He began his career in Chennai, editing advertisements, documentaries, music videos, television programmes and short films before moving into feature films.
He made his feature-film debut as an editor with Ustad Hotel (2012) and went on to collaborate with filmmakers such as Anjali Menon, Anwar Rasheed and Amal Neerad. His notable editing credits include Bangalore Days (2014), Iyobinte Pusthakam (2014), Koode (2018), Trance (2020) and Kannur Squad (2023).
