Biography
Omar Lulu is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is known for youthful, energetic films that often combine comedy, romance, music and commercial entertainment.
Omar Lulu made his directorial debut with Happy Wedding (2016). The film became popular for its light-hearted humour and youthful characters. He followed it with Chunkzz (2017), another youth-oriented comedy.
He later directed Oru Adaar Love (2019), which gained widespread attention even before its release because of a song and the viral popularity of its young cast. The film became particularly known for introducing Priya Prakash Varrier to a large audience.
His other notable directorial works include Dhamaka (2020) and Bad Boyz (2024). His films generally focus on friendship, romance, youth culture and humorous situations while maintaining a commercial approach.
