Nick Foster
Biography
Nick Foster is a BAFTA-winning British composer from Liverpool, now based at AIR Studios in London.
He has scored music for film, TV, and games, including Netflix’s The Twister: Caught in the Storm, BBC’s The Man Who Definitely Didn’t Steal Hollywood, and The Balloonists, which premiered at TIFF.
His notable TV credits include Lover Stalker Killer (Netflix), In My Skin (BBC), and Renegade Nell (Disney+). He also composed for documentaries such as Devil’s Advocate, All or Nothing: Arsenal, and Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius, as well as comedies Dick Turpin and Year of the Rabbit.
Foster co-scored Thunderbirds Are Go with his brother Ben Foster and composed for the film Misha and the Wolves and the musical Greatest Days.
In gaming, he scored Sackboy: A Big Adventure (BAFTA-nominated). His advertising work spans collaborations with leading directors.
His awards include two BAFTAs, multiple D&AD and British Arrows wins, and the 2024 MAS Award for Best Original Composition for Renegade Nell.
