Biography

Neha Pendse Bayas (born 29 November 1984) is an Indian actress and producer known for her work in Hindi and Marathi films and television, as well as appearances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada productions. She was born in Mumbai and began her career as a child artist.

Early Life and Career

Neha began acting as a child in the mid-1990s, making an early television appearance in Captain House. She later gained recognition through Hindi television shows including Hasratein, where she played Urja.

Her early film appearances included Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin (1999) and Daag: The Fire (1999). She subsequently appeared in films such as Devdas (2002), Sontham (2002), Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002) and Nothing But Life (2004).

Marathi Cinema and Television

Pendse became particularly prominent in Marathi entertainment, appearing in films including Dusari Goshta (2014), Premasathi Coming Suun (2014), Balkadu (2015) and Natsamrat (2016).

On Hindi television, she became widely recognized for playing Sanjana Hiteshi in the sitcom May I Come In Madam?. She later participated in Bigg Boss 12 in 2018.

In 2021, she replaced Saumya Tandon as Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain! and remained with the show until 2022.

Recognition

One of her most acclaimed performances came in the Marathi film June (2021), which she also co-produced. Her performance earned her the Filmfare Award Marathi for Best Actress.

Personal Life

Neha Pendse married businessman Shardul Singh Bayas on 5 January 2020 in a traditional Marathi ceremony. Following her marriage, she adopted the name Neha Pendse Bayas.
