Biography and Early Life:

Born in 1947 in Thathamangalam, Palakkad district, Kerala, Mohan Sharma completed his early education in Thathamangalam and Chitoor. He then pursued his passion for acting, joining the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and graduating in acting. Notably, he was the first South Indian to achieve this qualification from the institute, highlighting his pioneering spirit.

 

 

A Multi-Faceted Career:

Mohan Sharma's career is a testament to his versatility and dedication. He gained initial recognition for his role in the 1974 Malayalam film "Chattakari," which became a significant milestone in his acting journey.   • Hindi: "Dream Girl" (1977), "Sur Sangam" (1985), and "Wafadaar" (1985).

His personal life has seen multiple marriages. He married his "Chattakari" co-star Lakshmi in 1975, but their marriage ended in divorce in 1980. He remarried in 1982 and has a son from that marriage. Later, he divorced again and married Shanthi, a Bharatnatyam dancer.
