Mohan Choti

Mohan Choti (1935 – 1 February 1992) was an Indian actor best known for his comic roles in Hindi films. His screen name “Mohan Choti” was inspired by a fictional character he portrayed in the film Musafir (1957), where he played a tea shop delivery boy with a traditional “choti” (tuft of hair).
Biography
Mohan Choti was born as Mohan Rakshakar in 1935 in Amravati. His father, Atmaram Rakshakar, served as a police constable.
In addition to acting, he ventured into filmmaking, producing and directing two films—Dhoti Lota Aur Chowpatty and Hunterwali 77. He also explored business, opening a restaurant named “Sawal Roti Ka; Dhaba Choti Ka” and starting an atta (flour) distribution unit called “Choti Walla Atta.”
Death
Mohan Choti passed away on 1 February 1992 at the age of 57.
