Mani Shornnur
Biography
Mani Shornnur is an Indian screenwriter who has worked predominantly in Malayalam cinema. He is known for writing stories, screenplays and dialogues for several Malayalam films from the late 1980s onward.
His writing credits include Amina Tailors (1991), Rajadhani (1994), Pallivathuckal Thommichan (1996), Oru Mutham Mani Mutham (1997), Kottaram Veettile Apputtan (1998), Sarkar Dada (2005), Greetings (2004), Mayilattam (2004) and Grihanathan (2012).
He collaborated with several Malayalam filmmakers, including Rajasenan and Sajan. For Kottaram Veettile Apputtan, he contributed to the story and screenplay, while Greetings and Sarkar Dada also feature him as the writer.
Mani Shornnur has also appeared as an actor, including a role in the Malayalam television comedy series Marimayam.
He is particularly associated with Malayalam films of the 1990s and 2000s, contributing to comedy, family drama and socially oriented stories.
