Maha Subair

Biography

Maha Subair is an Indian film producer who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. Born Subair Pareed, he has been active as a producer since the early 2000s and is associated with the production banner Varnachithra.

 

He made his production debut with the commercially successful Meesha Madhavan (2002), directed by Lal Jose and starring Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. He subsequently produced films including Manassinakkare (2003), Udayon (2005), Thirakkatha (2008), Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha (2009), Christian Brothers (2011), Mr. Marumakan (2012), Salaam Kashmier (2014), Aakashamittayee (2017) and Drama (2018).

 

His later producing credits include Kurukkan (2023), Idiyan Chandhu (2024) and Oru Jaathi Jaathakam (2025).

 

Maha Subair has been associated with several award-winning and critically acclaimed Malayalam productions, including Thirakkatha and Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha. His long career has made him a notable producer in contemporary Malayalam cinema.
