Krish Hassan

Biography

Krish Hassan is an Indian actor who works predominantly in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. He began his journey in the performing arts through theatre, undergoing stage-acting training before moving toward screen acting. His early exposure to performance helped him develop the confidence and skills required for professional cinema.

Early Career

Before entering mainstream cinema, Krish gained attention on social media by creating recreation videos inspired by iconic film characters. His popular remake of the character Rolex became particularly well known and helped him attract recognition among audiences.

Krish began his professional acting journey with an unreleased film in 2021. During the same period, he was cast in a leading role in Fernandes, an independent Netflix film that remains unreleased. He continued to attend auditions and participate in acting workshops, gradually creating opportunities for himself in mainstream productions.

Tamil Cinema

Krish made one of his early notable screen appearances in Varisu (2023), the Tamil action drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally, where he played a kidnapper. He subsequently appeared in several short films and album projects and also worked as a dubbing artist, lending his voice to various characters.

He later became part of the cast of Thangalaan (2024), the historical action drama directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film provided him with another opportunity to work in a major Tamil production.

Krish also appeared in Vettaiyan (2024), where he portrayed Sathish, also known as Guna's friend. His performances have helped him gain recognition among audiences and critics.

Malayalam Cinema

Krish expanded his career into Malayalam cinema with Mura (2024), an action drama directed by Muhammed Musthafa and produced by Shibu Thameens under HR Pictures. The film marked his Malayalam cinema debut and introduced him to a wider audience in the Mollywood industry.

He later became associated with Chutney Sambar, a Disney+ Hotstar series directed by Radha Mohan, further expanding his work into the digital entertainment space.

Krish also appeared in Sakthithirumagan, portraying an underage convict and murderer. The role offered him an opportunity to explore a darker and more challenging character.

Mandaadi

Krish's later project includes Mandaadi, in which he plays one of the lead characters as well as the antagonist. The role adds another challenging character to his growing filmography and demonstrates his willingness to explore different shades of performance.
