Kaneez Surka is a celebrated stand-up comedian, improviser, comedic actress, and show creator who has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s comedy landscape. Known for her quick wit and infectious energy, she has built a multifaceted career across television, streaming platforms, and live performance.
Kaneez has produced and performed in several acclaimed shows, including her Netflix special Ladies Up, Comedy Premium League, and Amazon Prime Video’s improv series Something From Nothing and Improv All Stars – Games Night. She has also showcased her comedic acting in The Shaila’s, which was selected for the Voot Select Film Festival, and appeared as herself in Bhaag Beanie Bhaag.
A true pioneer of improv comedy in India, Kaneez has conducted workshops nationwide since 2014, helping nurture a new generation of performers. She has also served as a judge on Comicstaan (Seasons 1 and 2) and Queens of Comedy, further cementing her influence in the industry.
