Jithu Damodar Palakkad
Biography
Jithu Damodar Palakkad is an Indian cinematographer who has worked predominantly in Malayalam cinema, with contributions to Tamil films as well. He is also credited as Jithu Palghat. He made his debut as an independent cinematographer with War & Love (2003), after earlier working as a cameraman on Meerayude Dukhavum Muthuvinte Swapnavum (2003).
Over the years, Jithu has worked on films such as Akale (2004), Gandhi Park (2007), Hotel California (2013), London Bridge (2014), Rudra Simhasanam (2015), Pretham (2016), Aadupuliyattam (2016), Adam Joan (2017), Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal (2018), Brother's Day (2019), Big Brother (2020), Twenty One Grams (2022), Enthada Saji (2023) and Queen Elizabeth (2023).
He also served as the cinematographer for the Tamil film Petta Rap (2024), directed by S. J. Sinu and starring Prabhu Deva and Vedhika.
