Biography
Jibu Jacob is an Indian film director, cinematographer and journalist who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. He began his career in the media and later moved into filmmaking.
Jibu Jacob made his directorial debut with ** Vellimoonga (2014)**, a political satire starring Biju Menon and Nikki Galrani. The film became a major commercial success and established him as a director known for combining humour with political and social themes.
He subsequently directed films such as Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol (2017), starring Mohanlal and Meena, Adventures of Omanakuttan (2017), and Ellam Sheriyakum (2021). His films often explore family relationships, village life, politics and everyday social situations through comedy and drama.
