Divya Prabha

Biography

Divya Prabha is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and television. Born on 18 May 1991 in Thrissur, Kerala, she began her acting career with supporting roles before gaining recognition for her work in both mainstream and independent films.

She made her film debut with Lokpal (2013) and subsequently appeared in films such as Ithihasa (2014), Take Off (2017), Kammara Sambhavam (2018), Nonsense (2018) and Thamaasha (2019). She also worked in Malayalam television serials, including Eswaran Sakshiyayi, for which she won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Second Actress in 2015.

Divya received wider critical attention for Ariyippu (2022), directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Her performance as Reshmi was recognized at the Locarno Film Festival, where she received a Best Actress nomination in the festival's international competition.

Her other notable films include Malik (2021), Nizhal (2021), Kodiyil Oruvan (2021), Family (2023) and All We Imagine as Light (2024). In Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine as Light, she played Anu, one of the film's central characters. The film won the Grand Prix at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

More recently, she appeared in Sarkeet (2025) and Masthishka Maranam (2026).
