Deep Joshi
Biography
Deep Joshi is an Indian actor, writer, and director known for his contributions to Punjabi cinema. Born on March 11 in a village near Ludhiana, Punjab, he developed a passion for acting early in life. He completed his schooling at SAN Jain Senior Secondary School and graduated from Aarya College. To hone his craft, he pursued a Master's degree in Theatre and Television from Punjabi University, Patiala.
Career
Deep Joshi began his career in theatre, participating in various groups across Punjab. He transitioned to television, securing lead roles in shows like Sony TV's "Love Story" and Zee TV's "Chalti Ka Naam Gaddi." His film debut came with supporting roles in "Chak Jawana" and "Sukhmani," both featuring Gurdas Maan.
Expanding his repertoire, Joshi ventured into writing, penning the script for the 2012 film "Burraaahh," in which he also acted. In 2016, he made his directorial debut with "Bathinda Express," a film he also wrote and produced, focusing on youth-centric themes.
