Chandan Prabhakar, often affectionately known as "Chandu," is a prominent Indian comedian and actor, widely recognized for his hilarious characters and collaborations with comedian Kapil Sharma. Born on September 29, 1981, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, Chandan's journey to comedy fame is an interesting one.
Chandan holds a mechanical engineering degree from Hindu College in Amritsar. However, his passion for comedy led him to pursue a different path. His entertainment career officially began in 2007 as a contestant on the popular comedy reality show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge," where he emerged as the first runner-up, showcasing his unique comedic talent.
His career truly took off with his association with childhood friend Kapil Sharma. He became an integral part of some of India's most beloved comedy shows, including:
