Biography
Balachandran Chullikadu is an Indian poet, writer, actor and public speaker who works primarily in Malayalam. Born on 30 July 1957 in Ernakulam, Kerala, he is one of the prominent contemporary poets in the Malayalam literary tradition.
He began writing poetry at a young age and became widely recognized for his distinctive poetic style. His works often explore themes such as love, loneliness, mortality, social life and human relationships. His poetry has earned him a strong following among Malayalam literary readers.
Alongside literature, Chullikadu has worked extensively as an actor in Malayalam cinema. He has appeared in films including Akkare Ninnoru Maran, Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala, Ravanaprabhu, Spirit, Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, Munnariyippu, Pathemari, Kammara Sambhavam and Kuttanadan Marpappa.
